Wider "MADE for Manor" Curriculum

At Manor Primary, we recognize that our children do not start their educational journey on a level playing field. Our school sits within an area of significant socio-economic challenge, characterised by high levels of deprivation (Pupil Premium), persistent local crime, and a proximity to high-risk infrastructure like the national rail network.

As a result, part of our "MADE for Manor" Curriculum is aimed at addressing these barriers and giving our children the best possible to chance to achieve and strive in the world. We work closely with the Johnson Foundation, RNLI, RSPCA, National Rail, Claire House and other agencies to give our children the knowledge and tools to be well-rounded citizens.

This year our children will be returning to Robinwood Activity Centre for the Fifth time. This trip is open to our children in Year 6 and is a three day residential trip which involves a number of Outdoor Adventurous Activities.

Enrichment Clubs

At Manor Primary School, we believe that learning shouldn’t stop at 3:15. We are proud to offer a diverse range of enrichment clubs designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and develop new skills across all year groups.

Whether your child is an aspiring athlete or a strategic thinker, there is something for everyone. Our current timetable includes:

  • Multi-Sports with S4YC: A high-energy session focusing on teamwork and fundamental movement skills.

  • Key Stage 1 & Key Stage 2 Sports Clubs: Tailored physical activity sessions to keep our pupils active and healthy.

  • Darts Club: A fantastic way to improve hand-eye coordination and mental arithmetic in a fun, social environment.

  • Minecraft Club: Encouraging creativity, digital literacy, and collaborative problem-solving.

  • Chess Club: Developing patience, logic, and strategic planning through friendly competition.
